After the Night before

Yesterday evening was our Snowbirds Return Party - so called because it was judged that most of the Winter Sun seekers had returned and it had to be then because now the folk who like to go home for Christmas will soon start leaving. We had a lovely meal together which I think was one of the best received menus that we have arranged so far. If a criticism had to be found it would be that we were all fed to bursting. The music was provided by Harry H who had to leave Ann at home in bed with flu and we wish her a speedy recovery. We had a raffle because we felt it was only fair to reimburse Harry for his petrol etc. etc. so we purchased a bottle of Whisky and a tray of Christmas sweets costing 13.90€ and added some donated prizes. Raffle ticket sales raised 33€ leaving 19.10€ after deductions for the expenses. So thank you everyone for your contribution and we hope that you enjoyed your evening with the La Manga Mar Menor Enthusiasts (lmmme).
